Colour Trends LFW Spring/Summer 2024
Sun Orange
This is a high visibility orange, and in fact, it is a vibrant and bright colour. You can wear this colour on its own (if you dare), or you can combine with other vibrant colours or pair with delicate tones to achieve colour-blocking outfits. In any way, you should wear this colour only when you don't mind too much attention. This is a great hue for people with warm and bright characteristics, in our case, Spring, especially bright sub-season.
Bistro Green
Versatile, deep green, which recalls the colours of the wildest vegetation. Beautiful with mustard or coral to create stylist and cohesive looks. Great with neutrals like white, black or beige too. This green shade gives a twist to people with deep characteristics, both deep (Autumn and Winter) subgroups.
Chutney
Chutney colour is a deep and rich combination of red, orange, and brown tones. It often appears to be warm and inviting, reminiscent of the earthy spices. It goes well with olive green, burnt orange, mustard yellow or deep navy blue. These colours will enhance the richness and warmth of Chutney. Autumns will wear this colour well.
Tarragon
Pantone's Tarragon colour is a soft, muted olive green hue that is reminiscent of the herb it is named after. It exudes a calming and natural vibe. The earthy undertones in Tarragon evoke feelings of tranquility and sophistication, perfect for creating a timeless and elegant aesthetic. It goes well with neutrals like white, beige or grey to create a harmonius look. For more eclectic look pair with earthy tones like mustard yellow, rust orange or deep burgundy. This colour is amazing on Autumns, especially Soft subgroup.
Spicy Mustard
Literally mustard :) Inseparable in the autumn🍂 palette. Spicy mustard is a vibrant shade that is reminiscent of the condiment itself - a rich, warm yellow with hints of brown and orange undertones. It exudes a sense of boldness and sophistication, adding a pop of energy and warmth to any space or outfit. It is very easy to match - you can match with any warm colour, from orange blood orange, saffron, cayenne, cumin to forest green. But it is not easy to wear. Amazing for people with warm undertone and with golden brown or red hair.
Please note that Cate belongs to the Spring season, but in cold months, Springs can borrow this muted yellow.
Brilliant White
White is not present on the traditional colour wheel because it is not considered a “true” colour.
Actually, like all other colours, white is not the only one.
It features different shades that can be either colder (like ice) or warmer (like cream white). This white is crisp, clean, and pure white colour that radiates brightness and clarity
Fiesta
Do you remember this warm and lively red shade from Spring/Summer 2019 New York fashion week? if not, that is okay because this year you will find this red more in Europe. This is a shade for people of warm undertone ( both Spring and Autumn), natural blondes, redheads and brunettes. I would recommend to pair this red with turquoise in warm months or hazelnut in cold months. You can also try golden yellow and warm pink for analogous palette outfit.
Burnished Lilac
Burnished lilac is a soft, muted purple colour with a subtle sheen or gloss that gives it a polished and elegant appearance. The colour is reminiscent of the delicate hue of lilac flowers, but with a rich, slightly metallic finish that adds depth and sophistication to the shade. Try to combine with sage green, dusty pink or light peach for a cohesive look or with neutrals such as grey, beige or cream for understated look. Summers, especially cool and soft subgroups will shine in this colour.
Horizon Blue
Pantone's Horizon Blue is a serene and calming shade of blue that evokes a sense of tranquility and expansiveness. This colour is reminiscent of the clear sky on a sunny day or the vast ocean on a calm morning. For a bold and vibrant look, pair Horizon Blue with shades of coral or yellow to create a striking contrast. Nobody but Bright / Warm Springs can wear this blue amazingly.
Strong Blue
Strong Blue is a vibrant and intense hue that exudes confidence and boldness. It evokes a sense of power and authority, making a statement wherever it is used. For a bold and impactful look pair with white or black. It also goes well with lighter shades. If you pair with orange, you will create a striking contrast. Additionally it can be paired with silver metallics for some added glamour. Suitable for all with cool undertones.
Charlock
Charlock is a vibrant shade of yellow with an energetic and lively feel. It is often used to evoke feelings of warmth, positivity, and creativity. It is a bold and eye-catching colour that can instantly brighten up any outfit. For a sophisticated look pair with dark navy or emerald green. If you are looking for a more playful and vibrant combinations, try it with shades of coral or magenta. Springs, this is one of your colours :)
Deep Well
Deep Well is a rich and intense shade that exudes a sense of depth and sophistication. This colour is luxurious and mysterious, adding a dramatic touch. Its depth evokes a sense of elegance and intrigue, making it a powerful choice for those looking to make a bold statement with their colour palette.
